You may have noticed that I like taking photos at night. I've always liked to observe how light sources reflect, diffuse and cast shadows across different surfaces. In particular, I love the fog and how it volumises light. The image above was taken on one such foggy night.

If I have a tripod (and I am shooting a still subject), then I will aim to shoot at base ISO (100 on my camera). Without a tripod, my ISO is between 800-3200. The A7 III handles low light very well and so I am confident to push the ISO to 3200 and deal with any noise later in Lightroom, but your mileage may vary.
I also tend to shoot slightly underexposed to claw back some shutter speed, and because shadow recovery from RAW files is much easier than highlight recovery.

Devon (UK) is always a great place for photography in the summer; these were taken on the southern coast, close to Exeter.
